Modern studies have shown that physical closeness facilitates your baby‘s transition to the outside world and that it stabilizes the baby‘s heart rate and temperature. Babies who are carried, for example, cry an average of 43% less. Holding your baby close, however, may not always be easy when you have other things to do. The ERGObaby® Carrier allows you to carry your child while pursuing your daily activities.

1. Carrying in 3 positions

With the ERGObaby® Carrier, you can carry your child in three different positions: on the front, on the back and on the hip.

2. Suitable for children aged 0 to 4 years

The ERGObaby® Infant Insert Hear allows you to carry your newborn in the ERGObaby® Carrier from birth (3 to 6 kgs) until about 4 to 6 months. Then the ERGObaby Carrier can support babies up to 18 kgs (about 4 years).

3. Waist belt

The ERGObaby® Carrier features a padded hip belt that evenly distributes your baby‘s weight from your shoulders to your hips, thus allowing you to carry for a longer time without back pain.

4. Certified quality

All ERGObaby® Carriers are produced according to strict criteria of quality and safety. The carriers of the Original and the Organic collection are certified with the TÜV Süd GS mark for product safety. Our organic materials have been marked by the Control Union and meet the requirements of the SGS and Intertek, as well as the Oeko-TEX 100 standards.

5. Squatting straddle position

The baby‘s hips in the first 4 to 6 months after birth are in a significant development phase. The design of the ERGObaby® Carrier ideally supports the baby‘s back and neck, and encourages proper positioning of the legs, promoting healthy development of the hip joints and effectively counteracting malformations such as hip dysplasia.
